Kanda Poha as it is known in Maharashtra is a popular breakfast poha recipe there. It is easy to make and can be prepared in very less time. The Maharashtrian poha is made either with kanda (onion) or batata (potato) or both. While I tried retaining the original taste of this poha recipe, I also made my own variations in it by adding a few vegetables, besides the regular onion and potato. This makes the dish not only healthy but also filling. Have it with a cup of tea or coffee and you will always love to have it again.
