Time actually runs so fast that we don’t realize that Christmas is nearing yet again and we are close to coming to the end of another wonderful year.
With Christmas round the corner, there could not have been a better start prepping for the festive occasion than the legendary Cake mixing ceremony.
To mark the occasion and spread the warmth of festivities, The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi organized the Annual cake mixing ceremony at the Seasonal Tastes Al Fresco. I was lucky to have been part of the event that captured the essence of the ceremony in a really good way. As there was a separate section for cake mixing for kids too, I took along my toddlers to the event.
It was one of the best cake mixing ceremonies that I have ever attended, where kids from all age groups participated and took great delight in cake mixing together. My kids along with all other kids enjoyed a lot and looking at them we mothers felt excited too. We all were given Chef Caps, aprons and gloves to get the feel of cake mixing. Even staff members were there with us who joined in the festivities with equal fervor.
After that there were snacks and mocktails, juices for everybody that included cheese platter, vegetable bnvehettq, dahi ke sooley, tandoori chicken tikka, Cajun tossed fried fish and so on. I have to say that The Westin Gurgaon had indeed prepared an astonishing mix of both Veg and Non veg snacks, which was curated by none other than Executive Chef Deepak Bhatia himself.
It was a fun filled event that took celebrations to a completely different level. We all had one of the best evenings and the best part was that our kids enjoyed equally. Thanks to The Westin Gurgaon for making it an extra superb for everybody!
