It was the all-powerful Sony A7R IV, conceptual Sigma fp, which also happens to be the smallest full-frame mirrorless camera, and the 6K video-oriented Panasonic S1H. So, are we going to see something new this year that can surprise us beyond our dreams?

What is likely to drift into 2020 or arrive before the year ends? Well, as of now, we can get a glimpse of the happenings in the camera sector and find out where they want to tread on. Some rumors, however, do not seem to reach anywhere, throwing us off the track.

In this post, we have found out the best camera rumors that are hopefully going to be accurate, just for you.

From the above, we get a brief idea of the cameras that are bound to come out next year. If you are a professional photographer, then your hands perhaps might be gleeful with immense choices of products to cling on too tightly.

Let us take a look at the rumors from primary camera manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, and Olympus.

Canon is the numero uno of camera making. They have streamlined their production such that other makers take a cue from them. With the new mirrorless EOS R and EOS RP, they are also producing the EOS 1D X Mark III pro-level sports.

Having said that, can we also get to see the updated version of the EOS 5D Mark IV? Only time will answer.

Nikon specializes in manufacturing and producing very high-quality cameras, just like Canon. They are perhaps the only maker to give intense competition to Canon. With the full-frame Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras, they are working on the APS-C Z50.

Is it the end of the Z9 or the arrival of the new D6 DSLR, only time will tell? We cannot express our excitement.

Sony always knows how to stand up with the chips are down. They gave us the beautiful and powerful Alpha A7S II, Alpha A7 III, and Alpha A7R IV. They may update the A7S II, which requires it.

Does it mean the end of the Alpha A7000 or the launch of the Alpha A6600? Stay tuned.

Fujifilm came up with several new products, and it what a year it has been for them. They released the X-Pro3, GFX 100, and the X-A7. Perhaps, they are working on the updated version of the X-H2.

So, can we see some sparks flying out from their stable, early next year?

Panasonic has never really made a huge mark in the camera market. Though they came out with the powerful full-frame mirrorless S1R and S1, some fireworks can be expected with the new and advanced S1H.

Can we expect anything from the Japanese giant that was once upon a time ruling the electronic market, only time will tell?

Olympus has always been cautious about what they make. With the arrival of the OM-D E-M1X and the TG-6, they are coming up with the new OM-D E-M5 Mark II. Both the cameras are said to be robust and pro-grade.

There are plenty of chances that we can get to see a new Olympus camera by next year.

What we think: Looks like Canon, with its EOS R system, wants to go out all guns blazing in 2020. It does not mean that other makers, like Nikon and Sony, want to be left behind. However, it is safe to say that Canon is the front-runner, at least for now.

The first half of 2020, clearly belongs to Canon. Users can expect a compelling and high-resolution camera to be released before long, early next year. Thanks to the fact that most camera producers are keen on developing the pro-grade glass to new levels.

There are several rumors that Canon is planning to launch both the new M-Series and the powerful, best-seller DSLR camera. We can say that the seasoned camera manufacturer is having all it’s based neatly covered, with few surprises on the way.
