Oppo Steps Up the Selfie Revolution by Entering the Nepal Market with F1S

Smartphone lovers in Nepal now have a reason to rejoice for. After starting a selfie revolution with its Indian consumers with its flagship model, F1S and tasting success, Oppo is now entering the Nepal market to recreate that same magic.  Termed as the selfie expert, Oppo has launched the phone at a price of NPR 32,390 at an event in Nepal, gifting the Nepalese consumers the same rich experience that the Indian consumers have enjoyed till now.

Also present at the event were Nepali superstars, Reecha Sharma and Karma Shakya to share their f1 selfie experience with the audience.

Oppo has recently been named the No. 4 Smartphone brand worldwide in Q2 as per the IDC report and enjoys a rich experience in the camera technology with many awards and accolades to its credit. With this particular launch, the smartphone major wishes to strengthen its presence further in the South Asian market. Reiterating this statement, Sky Li – OPPO Global VP, MD of International Mobile Business and President of OPPO India stressed on the fact that Nepal is an important market for Oppo and considering the rapid developments happening in the Nepalese smartphone industry and the 4G launch expected very soon, the market presents itself as a potential one for the vendor to invest and grow.

Along with F1S, OPPO would also make available its other models, Neo 7 and A37 models.

Committed to providing the best customer experience, the phone would initially be available in Kathmandu for the first three months after which it will expand its presence to Pokhara. By making its phones available across 500 retail outlets and 8 experience stores, Oppo plans out really big for the market. It also has plans to establish an after sale service store at the heart of the city and as an after sale policy, offer a 30 Days 1-to-1 exchange offer.
